Project

As Bare Conductive prepared to launch the Touch Board, Moving Brands hosted a dedicated hackday inviting designers, programmers and makers to explore what conductive paint could enable in real projects.

Role

After participating in many software hackdays, I wanted to test a hardware-led format. I planned, organised and facilitated the workshop end-to-end: shaping the brief, preparing kits and materials, supporting teams during prototyping, and making sure the practical details were in place so people could focus on building.

Technology

Participants worked with cardboard, glue, wood, wires, sensors, actuators, Bare Conductive Touch Boards and conductive paint, combining quick physical fabrication with code on their own laptops. The setup was intentionally simple and flexible so teams could move quickly from concept to tangible prototype.

Outcomes

Designed and facilitated a hardware-first hackday for Bare Conductive, helping multidisciplinary teams rapidly prototype interactive concepts using conductive paint and Touch Board hardware.
